German luxury brands going after green market

German luxury brands are going for green marketing The German luxury trio of Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi are all locked in a tight battle for title of world's most popular car manufacturer. According to sales figures from the first half of 2010, BMW is currently in first place, even though the lead over his two rivals are marginal. In less than 2,000 cars, Mercedes' lead third place Audi even slimmer, but that number has grown in recent months thanks to strong sales of Mercedes in the U.S.
