Classic Southern Beauty Now Blooms in the North .
Hydrangea flowers was once considered to be found only in the South. But not a classic beauty blooms in the north as well. They grow from early spring to late fall flowerheads at the end of each stem. Most species are white hydrangea but macrophylla can be blue, purple, pink, red, and light or dark tag color indicates the pH of the soil to grow in. If the soil conditions. pH is a blue flower. If it is alkaline, they are pink or purple color.
